Technical Symposium 2017

Surendra Institute of Engineering and Management (SIEM), Siliguri, one of the premiere engineering colleges of North Bengal, operative under the aegis of Bidya Bharati Foundation organised a National Level Technical Symposium in the college campus on Thursday, 16th February 2017. The students of Jalpaiguri Polytechnic Institute, ATTC, Bardang, CCCT, Chisopani, Siliguri Government Polytechnic, Darjeeling Government Polytechnic, Kurseong, presented their meticulous research papers in front of juries on the areas of Civil Engineering (CE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) and Computer Science & Engineering (CSE). Dr. Goutam Kumar Panda, Chairman, North Bengal Local Centre, Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College, was the Chief Guest, while Mr. S. Mukhopadhyay, Principal, Siliguri Government Polytechnic, Siliguri, was the Guest of Honour of the event. The dignatories present in the event were Shri Rambilas Agarwal, President, Bidya Bharati Foundation; Mrs. Kamlesh Agarwal, Pro VC, Delhi Public School, Siliguri, Mr. Sharad Agarwal, Chairman, SIEM and Mrs. Snigdha Agarwal, Director, SIEM. Neeta Darnal, Ravi Shankar Singh, CCCT from CE; Sanjeev Adhikari, Prabhu Tamang, ATTC from ME, Tanmoy Ghosh, Ratnadeep Chakraborty, Surajit Mondal, Jalpaiguri Polytechnic Institute from EE; Dibakar Haldar and Group, Jalpaiguri Polytechnic Institute from ECE and Wasim Akram, Pranit Bhujel, Darjeeling Government Polytechnic from CSE were declared winners in respective streams. The winners and runners up participants were awarded with prizes and certificates in the event.
